Rick Ross’ recent interview on The 85 South Show left the hosts scratching their heads when the rapper stepped out never to return.
Rozay appeared on a recent episode of the show which aired on December 17. The interview with DC hosts Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean seems to go well for about 37 minutes. After enthusiastically responding to a question about his debut singles “Hustlin” and “Push It”, Ross informs the hosts that he must make a leak. “Let me use the bathroom once and I’ll take this jacket off,” Ross said before taking a sip of his drink and walking out of the room.
Shortly thereafter, the hosts are informed by someone off camera that Rozay has exited the building and left. The woman then informs the group that Ross must have taken a flight. “Why doesn’t he say that?” DC Young Fly questions.
“I just found out,” the person replies.
From there, the hosts are left to offer hilarious comments on what just happened. “That nigga the Phantom of the Opera,” Chico jokes.
“How is he just going to disappear like that? We’re not even saying goodbye or nothing,” DC jokes. “
Rick Ross is on his media tour following the release of his latest album, Richer than I’ve ever been December 10. Unfortunately for Ross, the LP has underperformed in terms of sales, with his first week sales being the Miami rapper’s lowest in 15 years of his career. The weak sales sparked a viral moment on Twitter after 50 Cent fans clown MMG’s head on below-average numbers last week.
