Material is focused on building exceptional artists and music brands within our growing group of electronic music labels.
To help with this expansion, we’re looking for an exceptional, dynamic, results-oriented, digital-minded individual to drive the business forward and deliver strategy and results for our artists and brands.
We require a minimum of three years of Marketing / Record Label / Artist Focused Marketing experience in a managerial position. You must have a proven understanding and experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. It is essential to have a deep understanding of the digital and social landscape as well as experience with leading impactful campaigns. The right candidate will be able to create our brands creatively, working with design, visual content and having the desire to stand out.
At the heart of this role is becoming a brand keeper for each of our record companies. You will work alongside the A&R team and the Product Manager, with a daily assistant to deliver campaigns from design to execution and finally to evaluation. From a day-to-day perspective, this rapidly evolving and varied artist-focused role will require someone with varying skills, able to work within ever-changing deadlines and goals. From social programs to launch events and branded partnerships, excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential.
This is a strategic mid-to-senior position within the company that will suit a team player as well as someone capable of leading projects head-on. You need to understand the global audience development and direct-to-consumer strategy as well as the budgets, data and numbers behind these larger strategic decisions.
We primarily operate in the electronic / dance music space – our brands include Back to Mine, Future Disco, Stress, FRDM, and Needwant. Therefore, a real knowledge, passion and understanding of dance music will be a real advantage. This is a central role that comes with the opportunity to shape and sculpt brands, artist campaigns as well as business growth and future direction of the company.
