Hello. We’re weirdo. We look a little like this:

We live on the Isle of Man and make music. Sometimes with these…

…but mostly with these. This is the page on the Shifty Disco website where we talk about ourselves and the song which is here for download as part of the MP3 club. It’s called “These Days”, and we really like it and are pretty damn chuffed that Shifty Disco do, too.

Truth be told, I’m not sure what to say here – it feels strange trying to describe yourself to people you don’t know; do I praise us to the skies or play it down in an attempt to foster floppy-fringe-type indie cred (note: Had a haircut today, so my fringe isn’t currently floppy. In fact I’m told it’s a bit Chegwinny)?

Basically, we’re weirdo. We do what we do because we love doing it., and if anybody else likes it, then that’s a cliché…

There are six of us, Andy, Flood, Martin, Dan, Marie and me (Phil). We’ve released two home-made EPs here on the Island, and have had a third released by the particularly wonderful I wish I was Unpopular records from Exeter (www.iwishiwasunpopular.com).
