Seagull Strange released their debut album "Better Angels of Our Nature" earlier this year. Being dubbed 'the best American record done by an English band ever' by High Voltage, it is full of hook-laden songs that draw influences from Eighties synth pop to R.E.M-style melodic rock, all sharing a haunting, dark quality likened to the brooding calm before the storm.

At the beginning of this (what we once knew as) summer, the unashamed glam/pop stomp of "La La La Ley" was released as the album's lead single and it teased Tom Robinson at BBC 6music so much that he has invited the band in to record a live session this coming Monday (10th September).

This radio session just so happens to coincide with the digital release of the band's new 4-track EP, "Love Sick Disease". Once more Will Brownlie has pulled the original single version apart and reconstructed a beguiling remix. And it is that remix that is here available for you to download.

Alongside the regular version and the remix, the EP also includes unreleased tracks "Little Son" and "Sulla's Return". The CD version of the single will be in the shops from Monday 1st October but you can pick up a copy now at oxfordmusic.net or from the band on tour over the next few weeks:
