Fun Foxes! Factsheet (as seen on thisisfakediy.co.uk)
1. Two of us are married, and two of us are Canadian. Adam Bell and Kayla Bell are married, they met on the internet. Daniel Pacrami and Kayla are Canadian, but they met in England at an art party.
2. Foxes! formed in late 2005, and started as a five-piece but couldn't find enough time to practice. Our solution was to make Kayla start playing drums, and kick two members out.
3. Daniel has an infamous home-made guitar.
4. Our keyboard is a cheap Casio missing a number of keys.
5. Our top five influences are Apples In Stereo, Dandy Warhols, Of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel and Yo La Tengo.
6. We mostly write songs about things that have actually happened to us:
topics include a tribute to dead pets and friends ('Descartes'), our friend's bicycle accident that put him in a coma for five days ('Who Killed Rob?'), the shopkeeper in our local grocery shop ('Oh Rosie'), and hanging out in a café ('Welcome To The Jivin'').
