"sweet, formative pop songs with the odd affect and taped phone ring sound, love unrequited and found". Everett True, Plan B

Hidden hand of the scene in Brighton and New Cross for the best part of ten years, Pipettes guitarist and conceptechnician, sometime collaborator (in the WWII sense) with the Tenderfoot and the Electric Soft Parade, occasional DJ for British Sea Power and The Customers. A songsmith by trade and amateur electronics enthusiast, Bobby's music has been compared, on Drownedinsound.com, to a cross between Jeffrey Lewis and Manitoba/Caribou but his chief interest is in a certain lineage of oddball singer-songwriters, stretching from Noel Coward to Thomas Truax, via Leonard Cohen, Wreckless Eric and Arthus Russell.

Rather appropriately (given Remake/Remodel Record's fixation with Sweden), Monster Bobby is going on a brief jaunt in Sweden on the week of the record's release.

April 22 Heavenly - Malmo
April 25 Osaka vs. Tokyo @ Street - Stockholm

Back in Blighty (and when The Pipettes allow him to go AWOL) he puts on a monthly Totally Bored night at Brighton's Fringe Bar. Previous line-ups read like a who's who of the Brighton music scene. The next one takes place on May 17 and features performances from Actress Hands, Treecreeper and (of course) Monster Bobby.

Heaven Hides Nothing by Monster Bobby is released as a limited edition 7" (500 copies) on the 24th of April. It is the first release on Remake/Remodel Records.
